checkbox

control and method of checkbox in awt

Checkbox class:
            This class is used to create the check box control. This will create a small box and label in front of it. If we click in the box the check mark will appear in it.
The Constructors of the Checkbox control:
a) Checkbox()
                        It will create the Checkbox with no Label information with it.
b) Checkbox(String s)
                        It will create the Checkbox with string s containing the information to be displayed in the label in front of the check box
c) Checkbox(String s,boolean state,CheckboxGroup cg)
                        It will create the Checkbox with string s containing the information to be displayed in the label in front of the check box
                        The state argument will specify the state of the check box. If we specify the state as true then the check mark will appear in the check box otherwise not
                        Checkgroup class is used for creating the Radio Buttons , which we will discuss latter.
d) Checkbox(String s,CheckboxGroup cg,boolean state)
                        Similar to the (c) constructor except the sequence of argument is different.

MVC Example 1

                        Swing MVC Example in java Java Swing first programs In this chapter, we will program our first programs in Swing toolkit. The examples are going  to be very simple. We will cover some basic functionality. Our first example In our first example, we will show a basic window. import javax.swing.JFrame; public class Simple extends JFrame { public Simple() { setSize(300, 200); setTitle("Simple"); setDefaultCloseOperation(EXIT_ON_CLOSE); } public static void main(String[] args) { Simple simple = new Simple(); simple.setVisible(true); } } While this code is very small, the application window can do quite a lot. It can be resized, maximized, minimized. All the complexity that comes with it has been hidden from the application programmer. import javax.swing.JFrame; Here we import the JFrame widget. It is a toplevel container, which is used for plac...
